Experience: 3 Months - 6 Months
Built-in hardware 6-channel audio
|» Pros|| |
nice red pcb
comes with 4 different PCI expansion brackets
SATA controller on-board
IEEE connections, USB 2.0 (though only 4 headers)
* A little pricy, but lower price of AMD CPU offset it from intel based setups
|» Cons|| |
* if you use the audio jacks on the case, the rear audio in/outs will be disabled
* transistors too near the CPU heatsink area, was hard to install HSF (vantec)
* only select brands of RAM work with this mobo, please be sure to check msicomputer.com to see if a RAM module is compatible
Overall a very nice board, very full-featured. The Delta allows for 400mhz FSB, which is great for longevity, though I'm running it at 333mhz. I have not tried to oc it, but I hear that the combination of this mobo and the barton XP200+ can be overclocked nicely.
