Cable can be replaced by better quality aftermarket cable
Can be used with the best reference level equipment with excellent results

High impedance makes it hard to drive from standard headphone jacks, which makes it require a powerful headphone amplifier to drive them fully
Will reveal the bad qualities along with the good in a source (as will any decent headphone)
A bit lacking on the bass
Not ideal for gaming

This headphone is best used with a decent headphone amp along with a high-end source. Do not buy this if you plan to use it for gaming, or to plug it into your dinky, low powered ipod for mp3 playback.
